AWS EniFe-CI (GB EZNiFe-1,Z408) is graphitic type coating with Nickel/Ferro core electrode and it is machinable one. The electrode is suitable for repairing or surfacing cracked and worm parts made of gray iron or nodular iron, as well as joining cast iron with dissimilar metals. Lower current is recommended to obtain better welding operation. Before welding the electrode should be baked 1 hour at a temperature around 150℃.
